I think somebody should warn kids that whatever their favorite piece of media is when they’re 12 will become an integral part of who they are as a person so they can choose wisely

I read artemis fowl I’m one of the lucky ones but the lack of warning is how we get 30 y/o’s with hogwarts houses in their bios

You turn 13 and your personality is locked onto the road you’re taking and whether or not you’ll be an insufferable person as an adult hinges entirely on if you had good taste when you were 12
